What would you use as an attention getter for deer hunting?

Let me get this right.....I'm deer hunting, and I want to get the deer's attention......HA, HA, HA!...LOL!!! LOL!! HA!What would you use as an attention getter for deer hunting?

if so, then it might be illegal in your state/province to bait deer, atleast here in canada it is and I've heard many members saying it's illegal in their state too.


if not illegal where you live, you can use rock or road salt, more natural then the stuff that you find on french fries and in shakers, apples and corn work awesome too. you can often find natural baiting sites too like oak patches and apple orchards and corn fields( not natural, but not considered ';baiting';), since they love apples and acorns, and is not considered baiting because it's either natural or is necessary for the farmer to do, ask politely to hunt on the land though, because most natural food plots are owned privately, you can also plant a food plot, but you need the permission from the owner of the land or own the land yourself and is 100% legal.What would you use as an attention getter for deer hunting?
the idea is to NOT get attention when you hunt deer.





Find a spot and sit... climb a tree and sit... see one while on the move and get quiet.





Deer are prey animals... they alert and move away from any threat they pervceive.





Sometimes you can call a buck closer if you mimic sounds deer make while in rut... rattle antlers ...grunt calls etc... and those are easily over done.
if you want a deer to stop walking , light whistle or grunt like baahh. you just want them to stop and listen an look around. you don't want them to actually look at you.
If you bring a .50 BMG rifle to hunt deer it'll certainly catch a lot of attention. Claim that deer nowadays wear steel plate armor to protect themselves.
If you want to get a deers attention you should put out doe in heat scents then get a bleat call. this will usually bring in a big buck.
grunt call???????? Never heard of getting a deer attention. lol. maybe you should put more details in your questions. Sorry i couldnt answer.
you might try running around in the nude. that will get somebody's attention.
