Wat should i feed ohio whitetail deer on a small 5 acre plot?

i have woods fields and water dozen+ resident deer live in country tell me wat they eat and ware to put itWat should i feed ohio whitetail deer on a small 5 acre plot?
A corn feeder or a plowed feed plot will both work. You can also plant trees like apple or pear and white oak because deer love acorns. To top that off you can plant berries along any fence rows.

Any corn feeder or feed plot should be setup in the most remote area of your 5 acres. In the dead center if need be. The fewer interruptions the deer have the more likely they are to stand around and eat.

Good luck to ya.

check your local laws in many states it is illegal to feed wildlife.
corn or a mineral block. Deer love corn and they grow bigger fi they have all their minerals, but be carfule about spooking the game.
Depends on how much effort and money you want to put in and it depends on what's available

If you want instant gratification (who doesn't), throw out some corn, carrots, apples, sugar beets, or whatever vege you can get your hands on.

If your in it for the long haul, I would go with a food plot. Get your soil tested and do some research (try qdma and food plots). It take alot of time, effort, and knowledge to make a good plot but it will be an advantage if you offer something other than the farms in your area. EX. if you are surounded by corn and soybeans, you might want to pland some oats and/or wheat. You can always buy seed from cabelas or bass proshop, but if you want to save a buck, find out what kind of seed is in the product you like and go to your local grain store to pick it up.

Best advice I can give you is to talk to someone (farmer, people at the grain store, ect) to find out what grows well in your area...........good luck!
Get some kind of a mechanical feeder and put shelled corn in it. Deer Will definitely eat it, but you likely can't hunt over it. If you don't want to buy a feeder you can make one out of PVC pipe. Google it.
Try putting in food plots. Get the soil Ph checked and be ready for some work. It is worth it. Don't just feed them though, let 'em be wild.
corn
You've already received good answers on feeding. Just so eveyone knows, it IS legal to hunt over bait in Ohio.

With that being said, hunting over bait doesn't really improve your odds of getting a deer. But you can hunt over bait if you wish to and be legal.

I've seen a lot of guys hunt over shelled corn, apples, mineral blocks, deer cocaine, etc. and do about the same as those that don't hunt over bait.

I prefer to find active runs and start checking them out the beginning of August to see where the most activity is.

Ashtabula county (where I hunt) in Ohio is usually pretty high up in deer count each year too. Where in Ohio are you located?
