Depending on where you live it is illegal to save them...and many wild life places will not take them either...





It is best fed goats milk or a goat/sheep milk replacer you can get at a feed store...deer are basicly just like goats. So get some books on goat care may help..





depending on how old the deer is ...you feed it 4 times a day till it is 3 days old and then you feed it 3 times a day till it is 2 weeks old then after that you feed it twice a day till it is 6-12 weeks old. feed it as much as it wants at each feeding.

Get it to an animal rehab center ASAP- it is illegal to possess a wild animal such as a deer. If DNR finds out you have it they will confiscate it, fine you and euthanize the deer.


They do not want a tamed deer released into the wild.
in most places it is illegal for you to keep wildlife.. contact fish and wildlife department or a veterinarian in your area and they will direct you who to contact.. there will be a wildlife rehabilitation place to take him/her to...

Contact a local vet and ask for the nearest wildlife rescue. Legally you can't keep it in most states. good for you fro rescuing it though.
Take it to the local vetinary clinic and tell them what happened
take it to a near by shelter, or a wildlife rescue place
ask your local zoo or the zoology departement of local university
