Would deer still come to my food plot if i didn't take a soil test?

would deer and other wildlife still be attracted to my food plot if i didn't take a soil test because i cant afford it and

would my odds of harvesting a deer off of it still be good????

and whats the best to plant????Would deer still come to my food plot if i didn't take a soil test?
Don't tell them and the deer will never know about the soil test. They have so much high dollar food plot seeds that I get confused. But it's hard to beat winter peas.Would deer still come to my food plot if i didn't take a soil test?
Farmers a hundred years ago didn't have soil test and they survived. You will be putting you plot success at a disadvantage. You won't know the PH so you don't know whether to lime or not. Neither will you won't know whether your food plot needs nitrogen or potassium and at what levels.

A food plot won't draw deer to an area. If deer are already in the area or currently move through your food plot, the food plot will give them a new grazing area, that they may or may not use during hunting season.

As for what's best to plant that is up to where you are, the soil type, and what natural plants are already there.
A soil test is only so that you can apply which ever nutrients and other soil amendments require for optimal plant growth. If you grow a crop, it doesn't really matter whether or not you did a soil test.
People have gone thousands of years without even using a food plot to hunt deer. I am confident that nothing has changed since then, and the deer will be there if they feel like it that day.
Yes they will come and come until its all gone.......as long as its tasty.
yes they should still come. i would use some that u would buy from walmart.
